When you booked the car, did they release the price? I do not think the price of the car is still out yet.

Even I have not heard of any delivery dates from the showrooms. All they are saying is they should start after March. No concrete information.

They showed a review of this vehicle in Overdrive (hindi version) today, but they did not mention any dates and prices.

I booked on 15th of JAN2012 White 6MT.Dealer just accepted 1lac cheque only . no ex-showroom yet.No date yet only broucher they had. They will be delivering my car First as soon as they get Display vehicle.

Ok. A dream sequence... Everyone tells you that Sonata is going to be launched in Petrol Avtar only. But comes March 7th, Hyundai announces a CRDI variant of the Sonata...

And today I realized that the dream is never going to be a reality. I have booked my Skoda Laura Ambiente 2.0 AT, due for delivery on Saturday. Had Hyundai announced a diesel version today, I would have thought not twice, but thrice, and cancelled the booking.

A petrol Sonata, sorry Hyundai, I am not with you. Take your own sweet time and launch your All New Sonata, I will be happy driving my new Laura DSG running on a fuel which is 30% cheaper(at least for 5 yrs from now).

Congrats Ganesh, I think you have take absolutely right decision and went on for Skoda. Hyundai would take ages to come at par with the quality and finesse of Skodas and that to if at all they launch Sonata (as of now no info.)

Actually, it is the other way for me....if Hyundai had released a diesel version, I'd have run away from that car (and this thread), a long time ago. Oh, the sweet smell of Petrol Price is a non-issue !!

Spotted the New Sonata here in Goa! looks quite good from the front and rear but looks like a slightly bigger version of the Fluidic Verna from the sides!Has some road presence but not too many people were paying attention to it,i Guess the silver colour was not helping either.
Hope Hyundai prices it well w.r.t the competition! Eagerly waiting for the 19!

I am hearing marginally cheaper pricing compared to the comparable model of accord 2.4 MT and AT (21.5 and 22.5 lakh OTR respectively for accord). But it HAS to be priced CHEAPER than the segment buster-the superb 1.8.
