Default Expected launches in 2006?

hey guys

Can we have a list of cars launched in India in the year 2006 under one thread ?..it'll be fun to review on it at the end of the year and see which ones actually made it ..

I'll start with a few that i know -

Skoda Fabia (postponed from 2005 to 2006)
Honda Civic
Hyundai Verna
Hyundai Azera
Hyundai Tiburon/Tuscani
Cadillac Escalade ?
Lancer Cedia
Chevy Aveo
Chevy Optra (sports)
Porsche Cayman S
Lamboghini Gallardo
Nissa 350z ??
Suzuki Swift (diesel)
Audi A4
Audi Q7
Ford Focus
Toyota Fortuner

fill in with more if you know ... and your views on the above ..i have a lot of bashing for hyundai Verna in store ..

Nope ,unfortunatly, both the Fabia and the Fortuner wont make it this year and its been confirmed from the "Skoda" and the "Toyota Kirloskar" Senior Officials ..

Ooops.. forgot to add there are few more we could expect this year :

Aston Martin
Citroen C5, C6
Fiat Idea
New Honda Accord
Jaguar X,S
Suzuki Grand Vitara
New S class
New M class
Porsche Cayman
Mitsubishi Outlander
Hummer
BMW 3 series ?

These all cars are expected this year but ,i doubt whether we 'll be able to see all these beauties on our roads within this year ..

Skoda is going to launch the all new Fabia in 2007. Makes sense to hold off Fabia launch till then.

i beleive Mitsubishi is launching a new sedan for India ... Subaru Forester with New Engine and body shape is also expected to be launched this year ...
and also VW might launch their cars this year ...

ye haryan, it's called the mitsubishi lancer cedia to mainly compete with the corolla, elantra and the octavia. it'll roar with it's 2000cc, 1.8L, 125bhp engine. And it would be sporting the interiors of an evo. Still wondering about how the car gonna compete with the likes of the above mentioned competitors in terms of looks....the best word to describe it would be - "ORDINARY"!

Hey Pal, isn't a 2000 CC engine supposed to be 2.0L ? Am I missing something here ? sorry but am not trying to find fault..... just confused.
