Default Volkswagen bags eight Abby awards

The kind of advertising spend that VW India has indulged in could put manufacturers with higher volumes to shame. I don't remember the last time that a car manufacturer was so aggressive with its sheer volume of marketing. They started in a crowded marketplace, but what a job of brand awareness! In terms of product, the Vento has been spot on. If only the Polo had 4 cylinder engines throughout the range. Nevertheless, they have managed to create an aspirational value around the VW brand.

They deserve this award, especially the "talking newspaper" for the vento.
Imagine the surprise the public got when they lifted the paper and suddenly from nowhere a voice appears and this is perhaps the best way of talking to audience, read spreading awareness.

VW rightly deserve these awards. Their marketing strategies have been very aggressive and their sales have gone up due to excellent advertising campaigns (they make good products too). Other manufacturers should learn from this. I really like VW Vento advertisement.

Well deserved! Their road blocks, talk ads and cut out in the shape of the polo were outstanding innovations!!

Thoroughly well deserved. On a related note, even the new Passat campaign is attracting a lot of positive attention. They are doing everything right on the Marketing front- pity they don't extend the same excellence to their supply chain!

I would have been surprised if they did not win any awards. Lot of innovative advertising. This is how to market a new brand. VW did an awesome job with that. Now everyone know about VW and their cars.
