Power more than torque is no issue but imagine how peaky the delivery must be?? My leg hurts just thinking about it. I doubt that engine is making any usable power below 4.5-5k rpm.

For all those who have trouble imagining try finding and reading a review on the Honda S2000's power delivery & power band to understand peakiness.

Hey,

Almost all rally/race cars are setup for max power only in the 4k upwards Rpm range thanks to the highlift cams, turbos etc etc. You will rarely a rally car being driven low down in the power band save when he brakes to a slow speed.

I am not talking of Group 'N" cars but fully modified or Group "A" spec cars.

I know Viper that fully modded rally cars rarely make any power low down in the power band. But I was just mentioning it in a road car sense. I have driven a few cars with peaky delivery and well let's just say they are not really fun especially if you are driving in town.

Compeition cars are a different ball game altogether though.

iRaghava - it does say 'Palio Super 1600 Rally car'.. you would hardly use this in town
215 bhp from 1.6 lt is OK with all the mods that would have gone into it.. Arent we forgetting 800 bhp for F1 engines of 2.5lt capacity?

If you own a Palio, supercharge it. you're gonna love the results.
pretty much the same way the Civic Type-R is charged up in Europe.

step 1 - get a palio
setp 2 - get a supercharger
step 3 - install supercharger
step 4 - have fun.

or u can try buying a ferrari and installing a supercharger.. you will have even more fun.
