well, you have it now, you can go shotgun, sans a gun! jokes apart, off-roading is something one must do sometime. Do try and see if you can squeeze into some jeep.

Default NCR OTR aka "Capital Punishment"

Hello Bhpians,

It was a very colourful OTR with a variety of 4x4s.
The Delhi JEEPers let it rip and we had a very testostrone charged Sunday outing.
The outing saw the Radial Tyres Tube/Tubeless types out doing themselves, we lost two tyres after their sidewalls were gashed by rocks.

1) Willys MB Sarvinder
2) Ford GPW - Rabindra
3) CJ2A - Laxman
4) Willys MB - Adhiraaj & UBS
5) CJ5 - Navin Pal Yadav
6) MG413W - Vipul
7) MG413W - Vaibhav
Opel Frontera -
9) Mitsubishi - STRADA - Navin Pal Yadav
10) Mitsubishi - PAJERO - Dhruv Dhindsa
11) Trax Gurkha - Sujoy Roy Chowdhury

Enjoy the pics.

Regards,

Arka

PS- Some more pics to come

Default Driving the Trax Gurkha Off-Road

Hello TBhpian's,

During the recent JEEPTHRILLS Off-Road Event in Delhi, I had the oppurtunity to drive the Trax Gurkha off-Road.

This one had the OM616 Turbo and SWB 2400mm.
The first thing you will notice about the Gurkha is its Built Quality and refinement.

The OM616 Turbo is a very responsive engine and the vehicle feels very light.

The handling is very good (as compared to other 4WDs)
The Suspensions is very good in terms of ROLL, PITCH & YAW.

The Gearbox and Transfer case compliment each other.

We did some really steep ascends and descends, which was no problem for the 90BHP Engine.

The Tyres were a disappointment as they were not an off-road pattern, but were quite comfortable on road.

Regards,

Arka

Wow, this caught my attention as expected.

That's very impressive. Considering you have extensive experience on most 4x4s in the country, your impression has to be spot on. Looks like Gurkha is all that is made out to be. If only Force Motors starts delivering it.

Thanks Arka, for posting this.
