The track people only accept cash. No credits cards accepted. Helmets need to a good quality riding helmet. Not necessary for it to be full face. Miner's helmets (I don't know what else to call them) will not be allowed.

A few of us are plannig to meet up at Dakshin Honda at 6:30am on Sunday morning and leave from there. Anybody who wants to join us is more than welcome to.

Where do I look for a helmet big enough for the Safari? JC Road?

Edit: What would I do without you, Siddu? I get so much (m)oral support from you.

OK, important question: Suppose I have an accident on track and the vehicle is damaged, can I claim insurance? Or does a track come under the category of "organized racing" as seen in the certificate of insurance?

Mods - posting separately on purpose.

You can claim insurance, but you will have to lie to the insurance folks about where it happened.

yes it will be considered organised racing/testing, so what you have to do is get special insuarance cover for that day's use on the track.

As if all insurance claims are claimed at 'face value'.

Looks like a great event coming up. Might just turn up at the track for a couple of hours, of course as a mere spectator

Replacing "o" with "i" is less risky.
