Awesome, he shaved off 0.6 secs off his best time in Bbay and that too at an altitude of 1750ft (so expect him to go even quicker at the next Bbay run).

The Blue one belongs to Madhu and the next that is the White Supercharged car, It has mind blowing power under hood and I am sure my buddy will take care of his reaction time.

If you look closely in the snap you will see the man who tuned these cars. There were other 2 beast which did not make to the show, hope to see them next time.

Once again Zak is back on track in his RX.

Even this time Bangalore cars and bikes won most of the titles.

But once the GTR’s are ready to roll then it would be a tough for the Supra, I wish Gautam Singhania’s car had come for this event.

It was a hopelessly organised event with a lot of confusion and the organisers have no clue of what was happening. Hope things improve the next time.
Shreyans was disqualified for doing a burn out. I could see many people doing burn outs at the start line.

Was he doing burn outs at the start line or few meters before the start line? Burn outs are done to get the fresh rubber to come in contact with the tarmac. And I think this is the standard thing done at any drag race event. Why was this not allowed in this event.

One more thing, there was no MC nor any commentary. Most of the time, the audience was clueless who is participating and what car/bike is it and which category the car/bike was.

Also, we Hyderabadi team-bhpians did not co-ordinate well with the our Banglore friends. Sorry guys for not being a good host. Next time, I will do my best and see that your trip is pleasurable.

Raj.

A good weekend is how I would sum it all up, just for the simple reason that me and my kids could get to drool at some beautiful imports and some stupendously modded cars and bikes.

The Bangalore band just rocks. Could see professionalism all over their vehicles and the extent of mods were mind boggling.

Shabbir, did steal the limelight overall, I must say.

I would also concur with fellow members who have voiced their inputs on the not so smooth organizing done, but, I am pretty confident that the organizers would have realized this and would do better the next event around.

It was a pleasure to meet up with Psycho and for sure all our other Fellow BHPians. Thanks guys for being there and showing me (us) around.

I am fervently looking forward to more such events in the near future and would love it if some of our Hyderabad BHPians participate in them too.

Edit: Thanks a ton Avi for that nice comment.

Quoting you, "Then it ain't a Verna, its much more than that. A pete'd Viva" LOLLLLLL Indeed :-)

Some classes are usually allowed a burn out. Cars running stock tires are usually not allowed do burn outs.

Its a rule that varies with the category. The supra NEEDED to do the burnout.

I know it belongs to him. And it's there in one of his already-come movies, not an upcoming one.

I meant to say that he bought it from someone in Bangalore

Thanks to everyone who posted pics and vids covering this event. Nice to see a whole bunch of different imports participating!

Couple of observations...the strip was undulating?! :O That's just crazy! At least it looks like a nice smooth tar road. The parc ferme area was dirt? Surely that's not the best thing for cars and bikes that are going to / have just returned from a 1/4 mile run?
