Thats ok, no fretting about it anyway, I was more inquisitive about that 45bhp TC'd Swift... Maruti 800's were 45bhp if I remember right, whats wrong with the swift???

Lets talk about it when we meet in person . There is this joke about a certain TCed swift that is driven as if its just producing 45bhp & 8kgm of torque. Hence the sig. Thats coming from me, whose baleno hasn't done more than 20 kms in the last 10 months.

Ah! Those good old times during SR07. Don't be mistaken. This car is running on all cylinders fine. Its just that there is one important nut missing on it .

PS: I think we should take this chat offline. Least, we will end up going totally OT on this thread too.

Btw, when is the Supplementary Regulations out?

The Drag has been postponed to the weekend of 9th and 10th, as the person who is providing the timing equipment is travelling abroad and will be back only by 4th. So another week for boys to prepare.

if there is an interest in getting the T-shirts, please let me know. we can discuss furhter on the 21st meet.

Hi Rahul,

yes! I will be participating.

@iceman: yeah dude! Just spoke to Dr Rao, he says because of the timing equipment which was supposed to come from Blore and the guy bringing it has some work/ going abroad. The drags have been postponed just because of that to the next week that is now the drag dates are the 10th and 11th!

He also said that the SR shall be up by tomorrow!

Cheers
Shrey

Yup that's him. He's going abroad and will be back only by 4th. Hence the delay.

@fieroid- yeah joel, its as confirmed as it can be. You going with Fiero?

I seriously hope this drag doesn't get caught up amongst speculations on rigged timing equipment from FRK. We have had endless debates (and no conclusive proof) on that till date. Btw, didn't ACI ship in their own timing equipment (or is that not true?) for the last drag to prevent these speculations? Wonder why no one approached them to rent it out?

PS: I sincerely hope timing slips are given out to participants this time around. Its high time.
