Dear all - I am starting this thread where I will be posting my very memorable experiences of my association with the "Maharashtra Automotice Sports Association" (MASA) of Mumbai. I request you to please post your experiences also.

Behramji, I will be checking this thread on a regular basis. I have had some minor rally experience in '95-'96 on my Shogun.
I have read through some of your other threads and am sure that this one will be equally entertaining and informative.

Dear all - I managed to dig out one scanned photograph of me, my car MMF3433 (actually my father's at that time) alongwith the trophies which I won during the MASA rally of 1984. I will give detailed writeups of each rally separately. Sorry guys, no time to type now, I will have to prepare notes at home.

Lovely picture. The sepia tint gets the element of nostalgia. I remember following the Himalayan rally between 1983 to 1989. It used to be shown in a sunday evening program on DD - World of Sports. Narottam Puri as presenter.

Have read your Himalayan Rally thread. Too good! The way you describe helps one paint a picture. And your memory about registration numbers of cars is astonishing. Keep the posts coming.

I participated in the '85 and '86 Masa rallies with my fiat MMG1464. With Pradeep Nair.
