Guys the Eligibility of GDC has been updated.
Eligibility Criteria for participation in the Event

Applicants for the The Great Driving Challenge should satisfy the following criteria:
1. A Couple must comprise one male and one female only. No additional person can be a part of the Couple or travel with the Couple
2. Both Partners must be Indian citizens
3. Both Partners must be 20 years of age or above as on June 22nd , 2009
4. Both partners should have a valid driving license, with one of the partners carrying driving license issued on or before July 1, 2007 while the other partner can have a learner’s license also.


Wow now its more easier to be a part of this challenge.

Considering that the vehicle will be sponsored by Mitsubishi and it's associate sponsors, I doubt they will allow any additional branding on the car.

- I was thinking about that aspect... I believe that participants may be allowed to add in a couple of stickers of their own. (As long as the stickers do not affect Mitsubishi / any co-sponsors negatively.)

In any case, the T-shirts + Caps are always a back-up

If we reach the final round, I am in any case planning to get the route plan + schedules etc. vetted by the experts on Tbhp. and if I honestly wished to thank Tbhp'ians via our writeups / photos for helping us out... I don't think anyone should have any hassles.
