Default little more light on the event

Well guys happy to let you know that from India 3 teams are participating, They are Red Roosters Racing, Team Ten10 Racing, Team Gladiator Sports
From RRR Preetham & Rajini are riding dunno if Rohit and Unni are riding! and Emmanual Jebraj From Ten10. and Dilip Rogers and Capt Praveen Keerthi from Gladiator Sports..Even I ride for the same team. Will be there for the race and as for the ticketing, its compulsory to buy tickets and there will be options main straight, and near Big D and back straight. people who want to see some serious lean angles be there near the Big D.. and very high speed corners back straight entry..all the best be there, andrenaline rush will be to the core on that day!

Where's the buzz about this event at T-Bhp?. If not, let's create one. This has to be one of the largest motorsports events to reach Indian shores especially for bike fans.

^^ To be honest, I hadn't heard of it before this thread. Perhaps some pics / reviews of previous events under the same banner would help! If someone has the time to put them up, that is.

Its been marketed well. I've seen posters at coffee shops, restaurants, and even my gym!!! :-O

Some details:
There are a total of 6 races happening. 2 races for each of the 3 classes.(already posted)
Tickets would cost 400 and 1000 bucks.
Races start at around 9AM and the day would end at around 3.30 PM (if everything's on schedule).
I'll post up the race schedule if I get them.
PS: I like corner carving to straight line dragging. So, I'll probably be at the big D or at the final corner.

True dat. I heard the FMSCI president talk about it on the radio this morning as well. The silly RJ kept calling it the 'Sidvin Speed of Festival', though!

EDIT: Any T-BHPians planning to go together? Could I pile on?

My programme is still uncertain, so I would rather buy the ticket at the venue if I make it along with my son. I intend to buy the Rs 400 ticket, will it be too far away / open to sky? And in which stand will the other TBHPians be? I have never been to this track before, so any info about whether we should bring lunch, how to contact you guys etc. will be helpful.

You can buy tickets at the event , as mentioned earlier. The RS400 stands are ok, near the starting line. As for food, best bet is bring some sandwiches as you know how catered food is. Bring lots of water.

A few pre-event pics to give an idea of what's happening at this event. I drove up late afternoon missed most of the practice races but managed to sneak into the pit area and had a great time talking with members of the various teams. The atmosphere was pretty light hearted and friendly which was deceptive given that the teams were highly disciplined and ready for the race. Atleast that was my observation after interacting with them. I'm sure there will be more race pics tomorrow.
