I caught most of the action on both days.
Cars as vivid as WagonR, Indica Xeta and Accord V6 supercharged auto ran, it was a sight not to be missed !
Many 800s and zens ran in their respective classes but you guys would not believe the fastest car to lap the hills was.........any guesses.............no its not the Supra......................its our very humble Esteem !!!!
In the unrestricted category, the Supra clocked 1:31.xx on the first run and 1:29.xx on the second whereas the esteem clocked an amazing time of 1:27.4x consistently across two runs !
The red 'GT TUNERS' Esteem timed 1:33.xx.
An old Civic TypeR's fuel spill on the finish line added a lil drama but it was fixed and the car was up and running in no time.
A turbo SX4 ran 1:37 flat and sounded mean with the wastegases 'whistling' at gearchanges !
All in all a wonderful event and the sound of the engines howling and through the hillocks will stay with me for a long time to come.

Had a few friends participate this time around as well but no prizes taken. Had an old blue civic type r which did a few runs and hit about 1.31 as the best time. Last years first runner up FRK racing esteem developed gear problems and had to back out. Shabbir's Supra did a 1.30 and did a few donut's on the first hair pin bend and also do a burnout just to entertain the crowd. Was really nice to see a lot of cars participate from the old classic800/turbo 800's to accords and on the international open the Supra's. But the winner here was not about all power like in the quarter mile drag but more of control. The saying "Power is nothing without control holds good here" and came true when we say an esteem clock 1.27 seconds. No doubt this had THE works all from Suzuki Japan is what I hear and was really quick. Radha Selvaraj's Esteem is shown in the pics below is the florescent orange/silver black painted esteem. I dont think there were any incidents except for a few 180 to 360 spins. One of the VTEC had hit the gravel while negotiating a hair pin and then stalled and my friends civic did an oil spill on the final hair pin which was cleaned up in a giffy. All in all this was a good motor sport event.

Excellent pictures, guys! Thanks for sharing. Hill climbs are so much more fun than 1/4 mile drags.
