Rules are so funny.
Yeah! I agree Rules are funny but checking facts before coming to conclusion is a better thing to do.

EDIT: Oh dear, I see you have a Optra Magnum LT 2.0!!!

But the rules says that cruze/magnum falls under 2300cc and above category.

There is a multiplication factor (1.5x if i recall right, dont hold me on this) used on diesel cars with Turbo. Hence, the classification above 2300CC.

True, but my question is how can you compare a magnum to bmw 530d?

It would have been fair if they would have made classes for

1000cc-1500cc
1500cc-2000cc
2000cc-2500cc
2500cc-3000cc....etc

Even with multiplication factor there would have been fair competition.

Knowing the facts that even diesels entries are increasing i guess the indian drag scene should change.

Hope this happens in diesel category as it should not be that those who are RICH (bmw, merc) they are the WINNERs.

I remember seeing a Cruze (a brown shade) easily cover a Bmer during one of the runs. So guess the quotient of "richness" isn't everything. I think the same chap had outrun a merc too during the raceday.

I am not questioning the results

I was there for the morning session and this is something I saw. Maybe it was one of the preliminary runs, and maybe the cars involved were 3's and C's with the Cruze. Whatever the case maybe, price of the car is not the only contributing factor to the final result when it comes to a race. Point rested.
