Speedway Burnout 2011 (Kharghar Drag Races) : 7th & 8th May, 2011

Hi guys
Speedway 2011 was a great success but we really didnt see the kind of participation we expected. we wish to extend another opportunity to all racers and welcome them to race again in april on the 9/10th at kharghar, at the same venue.
This time we are trying to source permissions for a night event and have increased security and cut out all unnecessary expenditure.making this a really hardcore racing event. We have re-directed the available funds to our prize moneys and will be offering 25000/- as the prize money for 1st place in the open category for bikes and 50000/- for cars in the unrestricted category.

There will be a knockout format in the open categories for the top 6 racers.
amenities like food and water have been put into top priority along with safety. There will be no crowding on the track this time.

No special pits will be provided and no additional shamianas will be created. teams will be provided with large sized umbrellas for shade. Please rmember this is a hardcore racing event.

We are also pleased to announce that may-june will feature another large scale event with even larger prize money and more participation. please ensure that you register asap and avoid the last minute rush. We are in process of construction of a online payment and registration gateway. so you can register online and verification of all papers etc can be done on day of event during scrutiny.

Night event rocks! Will be much easier on the cars, drivers and spectators.

About time, I say! The easier the registration, the more entrants you will have. This step alone - online registration - will improve the turnout.

WoW, this seems really nice. The prize money should attract alot of people, but is the open class for everyone? As in superbikes and normal bikes in the Open Bikes and supercars and normal cars in the Open Cars catagory?

Amazing! At the time speedway 2011 was help I couldnt come.

But this time, I will be there for sure.

BHPians? Will there be a meet or some thing before/after this? Or if we appear there as a group, things can go awesome..

Way to go Vivan. Lokos like all plans are on track and at this rate we would get to see the drag racing scene in india rising to a different level. But as you rightly said, there should be more participants for this even to be even more successful.

guys the online payment gateway will not be ready in time for this event but we will be giving rtgs details etc for those who want to wire the money into the account directly. also anybody who wishes to email the forms (scan all forms after signing and submit with a scanned copy of your car papers to iarcindia@gmail.com. payment can be made towards armotosport at iarc directly or we will be putting up a rtgs code for bank transfer by today.

last date of entries will be 4th after whcih late entry fee shall be charged. the final SR documents will be put up today as well

guys please make arrangements for umbrellas for ure respective teams. we are trying to put up small shades to help with this heat but please come prepared to face severe temperatures with the heat rising everyday. we dont want anybody passing out or getting a heat stroke.

Will there be any arrangements for the audience? Last event's entry ticket was a tad too expensive at 750 bucks. I think if you keep lower entry prices, then you'll have a far bigger audience (and more profit too)

Hi, Will someone please guide us to decent accomodation close to the venue.

The place should be immaculately clean, with effective air-con. Secure parking for cars would be a great help. If not Kharghar, we would prefer something towards Pune or in Vashi.

There are many hotels in Cbd Belapur sector 11 and sector 15 with good rooms, food and parking. The ones which come to my mind are K Stars , The Park (5 * ) and Heritage Dakshin. Kharghar is around 3-4 kms from CBD Belapur.
