Default Ferrari 512i BB

Another rare classic, the Ferrari 512i BB. It was the predecessor of the Testarossa. Really rare. And beautiful.

Default Ferrari 456 GT

The beautiful Ferrari 456 GT. There was a black one too but I felt the alloys were too bling on such a classy car.

Default Remaining classic Ferrari's

Now there was a whole bunch of classic Ferrari's but I only know a few of them like the Dino. The rest I am not sure. Anyone willing to mention it, will be great for our collective knowledge!
What really caught my attention was the interiors of these classics. It's so special, just look at those toggle switches and thin rimmed steering. Amazing!
One of the black ones broke down, you can see the trail of coolant leaking and there was some smoke as well. Might be hard as hell to maintain these beauties!

Default And the odd one out!

Saw this classic between all the Ferrari, a Porsche 928. Must have felt so out of place! Was parked very close by.

That is fantastic. To see so many Ferraris from so many different model years is simply being really really lucky.

Note from the Team-BHP Support : Please avoid typing with excessive dots.........like................this. Thanks

Awesome thread... quite a rare in itself... its like pebble beach conc of fezzas... those musicians arent needed they should've simply revved all ferraris...

Was the event commemorating something special ? Is it planned at some other locations also?

Well, one of the Ferrari Italia left in between and you should have heard the exhaust howl, it was like a jet taking off. I can imagine what all Ferrari's revving would have been like, the police would be upon us instantly for noise pollution!

So good question about the event coming up, I see you are in Texas. I googled the Ferrari festival and it seems they are coming to Houston and Austin. Not sure where you would be. Here is the link:

You have no idea about the luck part dude. I checked in the hotel and there is this bunch of brochures of what to do in Chicago, which I usually never take as I planned to rely upon asking my colleagues in the Chicago office what to do. But this time I thought, what the heck, take any one of the 10 brochures there and have a look.
Checked in the room and made the payment, on my way to the elevator, I noted a tiny emblem of the prancing horse and when I turned the page, I just stopped. Only the following words were regestering in my head: Ferrari Festival, Italy Village in Chicago, over 50 cars, 11 to 2 pm. Without even thinking anything else, just rushed downstairs, asked where is this Italy village and ran like my life depended on it.
And for the rest, the photos speak for themselves to explain the other part of the story.

Felt exactly like what you said, Ferrari heaven! That's why the silly smile on me in the pics. And no, there was no F50. I guess it depends whether there is an F50 in the Illinois state or the owner might have not come.
