2014 Maserati Quattroporte Patent Drawings - Leaked!

Despite much efforts by the Italian marque to keep the new car under covers, the Maserati Quattroporte patent images has surfaced.

I was a tad worried if they'd mess up one of my all-time favorite performance sedans. Boy have they proved me wrong?!?!

Looks like VW/Audi designer escaped from Germany and sneaked into Italy to design the backside! Overall, its a decent evolution of the original design - an unmistakable Quattroporte.

Took those words right out of my mouth. Frankly even at this conceptual stage, the drawings of the rear are disapproving to me, lacks the typical italian flair that was quite evident in the previous gen-quattroporte's. The rear so looks like it came straight out of Ingolstadt, Germany !
