| Senior - BHPian | Mod Note : Please continue the Jaguar F-Type Discussion on our launch report thread (Reporting from Paris : The Jaguar F-Type Roadster & 4th Gen Range Rover). Thanks Guys, this is the new F-Type. Looks so much like the C-X16 concept showed a year ago. I love it. Looks freaking awesome. I hope this will have some really good engine options like a turbocharged v6 and a v8. I wonder how the R and RS version will be. Drool This is the sole picture available. I expect it to have world wide web release soon. http://www.autoblog.com/2012/09/19/j...f-paris-debut/ Last edited by GTO : 28th September 2012 at 11:41. Reason: Adding link to launch thread |

| I soooooo want one as the modern styling, the shape, the new lighting and the technical design just shows what Jaguar is capable of. When you look at the colours on display in the image I would imagine they set off the styling high-lights, which take the model into the next generation. If anything I get a 'feeling of Maserati' from its front area design, a car I'm particularly fond of being that they always come across understated as a super-car. I could go on for hours, however I'll limit myself to three lines of what Jaguar have achieved, I'm sure there'll be others who can expand on my personal comments. |

| The car looks stunning although the tail lamp has some Land Rover Evoque feel to them. Overall, really impressed by the offering. Awaiting further details. |

| Senior - BHPian | More pics have been leaked on the web. More pics can be found here. http://www.autoblog.com/2012/09/25/m...e-paris-debut/ Just lvoe the details on the car. Tail lights looks good and so does interior. Overall this could be a great car if they keep a check on the reliability issues. The seats looks very very comfy and inviting. I just can't wait to lay my hands on one. In the last interior pic, i can see normal gear shifter and not the traditional round dial selector found in other jaguars. Even the AC vents looks like normal one. Wonder if they will close and open like before. Signs of change? Last edited by chevelle : 25th September 2012 at 21:12. |

| The front does not seem to be Jaguar'ish. Maybe it is a deliberate decision to take the styling in a different direction. But still, I think the headlamp shape does not gel with the rest of the car, the rear taillamps etc. And it is priced above the Porsche boxster and the cayman (If I am not wrong). But a jag is a jag is a jag, so it is going to be a cracking car nonetheless. Glad to see TATA giving them the freedom they so dint have under ford! |
