New Opel Corsa - Team-BHP

The new Opel Corsa is ready to make it's first public appearence at the British International Auto Show in London (June 18-30). 3 petrol and 2 diesel engines will be avaliable with a new 1.7 CTDi with 125bhp. Hi-tech technology in the form of halogen adaptive forward lighting, navigation system using Cd or DVD-ROM, electricaly heated steering wheel! and even Run flat tyres!

WOW!
Design wise - this looks like what the next gen Indica could evolve into with the smiling face, longer wheelbase, similar lines from the xover.
Will this be launched here ?

I don't think so zenx. GM is replacing Opel with Chevy branded cars so there isn't any chance of the new Corsa being launched in India unless GM brings it in as Chevrolet Corsa

. But yea, the Grande Punto will be sold in India and GM and Fiat developed their two best selling hatches in Europe to-gether. The new Corsa is based on the Grande Punto but I, personally, feel that the Fiat Grande Punto looks way better then the Opel. Even the interiors of the Punto are more cheery and better looking then the Corsa's.

I like the new design direction Vauxhall/Opel are taking. The cars look very aggresive indeed...but I think this look will date very quickly.
