Default Tech Mahindra bags Volvo maintenance deal

Tech Mahindra has entered into an outsourcing contract with Volvo Car Corporation of Sweden where its maintenance and development facilities are concerned. This is a three year contract which though financial intricacies were kept under wraps could be worth over $40 million. Tech Mahindra will be developing facilities for Volvo Cars, which will include manufacture, product development and marketing and sales strategies with immediate effect.

“We see this contract as an opportunity to increase our contribution to Volvo Cars and further develop our business in the region. Our plans include proactive investment and recruitment from both local universities and the local business domain pool,” Tech Mahindra Head-Europe Vikram Nair said.
