Default New CL without disguise (pleasently suprised)

I had thought the new CL would look quite bad, but this one has its own thing and like the new S, it is growing quickly, I still maintain that the old CL looked a tad bit more sleek but this is not bad as i was expecting, actually its quite good..

Those are 100% PS Images. The new CL will look much better than this, especially the rear.

I kind of like the rear end on this one.. While the front is a bit awkward. Base engine will be the new 550 V8 no?

Why are Mercs becoming so obese day by day?????

They really have to learn how to cut down on the flab, this new design direction really isnt very right.

The headlights dont look so good. The rear end is a little too flabby, remins me of a Lexus SC.

The side view is the best without a doubt.

Agree with Islero here, side view is the best. Although I do like the rear view too. It looks fantastic with this colour. Cant wait for the CL63 to come out.

They could have done with much better headlights, somehow the front portion reminds me of a pheaton..

anyhow i still like it..it will be like the new S, takes time to getting use to but somehow the new CL is not nicer than the new S, where as in the older gen it was better

Looks quite good overall. Not a stunner, but still a head-turner.

As new Mercs go, they look better in the metal than in pics

The design flows beautifully from front to back. And the rear shows a very integrated styling - nothing looks out of place. The front takes a little getting used to, but the rear reminds me of the old '99 Acura CL coupe. [Wasnt my fav, though].

Does anyone else see a hint of a Jag in the rear three quarter here ? Esp when with the belt-line ?

CB can take a cue here, I guess ..

Love the current CL and this one is a fitting replacement. Very elegant looking car - much better looking than the 6 Series and the SL and almost as nice as the new XK. Nothing looks out of place.
