Only 5 of these Mercedes AMG CLK-GTR Limited Edition Roadster were made, each priced at 1.7 million $ ! But now the LA based dealer has sued Benz for selling him an expensive piece of scrap metal. He says he cant even travel 10 blocks without the car breaking down. So C class owners who have made a second home in the workshop, have heart, you just got very very expensive company

Thats rearry sad on merc part for seeling a car and not giving the proper After sales services.

Thats really sad, cos from what reviews I have read, this car is supposed to be good....too bad Merc lost interest and messed up after sales service...

It was considered to be a very good car when it was launched but I guess MB's poor quality prevails even in these hand-built specialist cars.

P.S. Will show it to my friend who's C-Class is now premanently parked in the workshop waiting for the problem to be solved! Might give him some consolation!!

I remember once upon a time at LM 24hr one of these things took off like a plane.

Anyway its quite common for Supercar makers not doing to good on After sales. Remember once upon a time a certain Mr Feruccio got so pissed off with his Ferrari that he decided to "out-Ferrari Ferrari" and what results!!

But still love these machines...have one in the AMG trim in Red please..

and what are people talking, Ferraris, Lambos are very well known for their unreliability, the cost of running these cars is out rageous, its becoming better but still far from it..
