Thanks keshavarora. It indeed is worth visiting. And the fact that not many people have seen it makes it special.

Amazing set of pics Maverick! That V12 X5 & V16 7 series must've been quite the experience! Do you know if it was actually driven on the road (atleast for testing purposes?

Hi Shanker, yes seeing these unique cars was an awesome experience. And yes, these cars are driven quiet a lot. Just Search for "BMW X5 Le Mans V12 LMR" and you will see the video of the Monster driven around Nurburgring!! Make sure you listen to that Exhaust note!!

There are also some interesting articles on the internet about the V16 E32, code named as "Gold Fish"!

Hi SM,
Great experience, thanks for sharing it. Late is better than never.

I think the above is a 320 turbo. And more likely to be an E21 rather than an E30. You will notice the difference in the vertical indicators next to the outer pair of headlights, the bulge in the bonnet, the close-set front grill rather than the E30 separate grills and so on.

The two red beauties:
One on the right is a 507 roadster, specifically designed for the American market to combat sporty MGs, Triumphs and the successful Mercedes 300 SLs. A black one takes pride of place on my desktop

The other a prototype, BMW 3200, a cheaper version re-designed by Michelotti since the original was overpriced for the late 1950s. Never got made. But the influence can be seen in the silver Z1 (James Bond) and later Z series.

Wow, thanks for clarifying this Automation. I am a bit rusty these days about BMW's

Was short of time during the visit, so had to act like a paparazzi, clicking what ever I see. You should make a visit to the BMW Classic museum without fail!!

Cheers!
