OK... Here I go...

I'm in London. Two days ago I went to John Lewis and investigated expensive juicers, along with ogling all the stuff in the kitchen gadget depatrment.

OK. It's just not the same, is it? Nope. Back to you... Sam
lol Come on Thad, even I know you're doing that on purpose.
You're far more elaborate and loquacious than that. Come on write us a London Blog. From the eyes of an Englishman-Indian. I know I'd love to read it.

Sam, it was indeed a pleasure to read this thread. I've watched it closely and enjoyed reading every little bit of it.

Your Epilogue was awesome, something that was touchy.

This is one thread that I've bookmarked forever!

May JBL bless you with many more trips like this, so that we can have more fun-filled readings. Cheers!

Seriously, about the only thing that has happened to me here so far that would interest this forum, is being driven around in my cousin's company car: a 4.2ltr Audi A8 that makes the hills of Cumbria seem as flat as the roads of Chennai . There was rather a lot of posh restaurant food involved too!

Unfortunately I did not get to drive it, although I was entrusted with a Mazda 5 (I think) diesel for an afternoon. Having got used to the sharp clutch it was rather nice.

The roads of London, though I look with a little envy at the cars, really just serve to remind me why I left.

But if I get any ideas for the blog....

Now this is interesting - you cant possibly be suggesting that they're worse than Chennai !

In terms of restrictions, obstructions, jams, actual speed and cost of many journeys, yes: they are far worse.

In terms of physical condition, most of them are pretty good.

New thread.

Especially if there's going to be lots of pictures, which we hope there will be!

UK had just reached too cold for me when I left on Monday. Enjoy the snow: I'll enjoy your pics of the snow
