The last bit was very emotional Sam. But glad to read that you will be with your beloved soon.

I truly enjoyed the traveloque like many others. Thanks for taking the time and effort to post so many pics and with detailed descriptions. While some of us may not be fortunate to travel the world, your traveloques sure give us an interesting insight into the sights, smells, tastes and cultures.

Hats off to your spirit. I love the way you live life Sam. God bless.

Until the next time...

Thanks Sam, once again, for taking us on your trip with you, and for sharing the magic.

Your wine festival pics may never be great, but there is more detail there than you might think. I'm no photoshop wizard --- in fact I am a The Gimp beginner!--- but just experimenting for a very few minutes with 'levels' can bring out individual people in the blackness. This was one of the lighter ones, but I tried one of darker ones too and got something --- and you will have the advantage of working with the original full-size images.

Yes, this is final and official news.
That means that another travelogue soon - once TheOne is here we are going to expect...no DEMAND..that there are regular mini travelogues every few days !

You have become like a celebrity in TBHP circles and members are going to be after you like the paparazzi. Even though it's grossly intrusive, we feel that we can expect many more travelogues from our very own Sam.

May you feel the same joy thousand times over that we have felt while reading your posts.

You will not be able to fathom the extent that we like your travelogs. I'ts honestly one of the almighty's gifts that you possess that helps you convey so much in so little a medium.

Please keep writing and YetiBlogging, we (i can safely speak here for myself) that I would not mind paying for what you write.

Wishing you all the best for the upcoming event.

So, here I am working myself slowly through those many pages. Sorry, some of it will seem a bit out of context due to me joining so late but I will comment on whatever I feel like and whatever may require a bit more explanation

Ja ja, welcome to good old Germany haha. Weather changes every day, sometimes twice/day.

Most people do not drink water regularly. The weather does not need them to.

TheOne® drinks even less water than normal Germans do. Upon my coaxing she has now increased her water intake. However strangely, she refuses to drink from the basin and is fussy about the water she purchases in 6-pack bottles at the super-market. Thankfully she likes either still water or very lightly aerated.
Wait wait wait.

First, people do drink water regularly! I am generally a bad drinker so I don't serve as a rule here lol.

And drinking from the tab: yes, you can always, no matter where you are in Germany. It may taste differently though from place to place depending on the surroundings, the amount of lime etc. That's why I am a little picky about it.

This was indeed a very nice evening. All of Sam's guest were very shy when coming to IFA, hardly talking, some only nodding to us when we said hello, so my colleagues and I were really really surprised when they all started chatting, drinking, laughing and joking during dinner. It was a lot of fun and we had many interesting talks! Supercool evening with superb Indian food.

Though I must admit it was quite spicy again (and that in Germany! lol). My colleague Jenny is doubtful as to how exactly I am planning to survive in India haha.

I realise that Jenny has just told the Radio Station that the show was O...K...
The presenter looks at her incredulously and asks again? Just O...K...?
I turn to Jenny, my arm still around her, my mouth is wide open as she says it again.

WOMEN!!!
Arrey, the show was great, her singing was okay! I was just honest!!!

No, lol. Those were JBL Car Audio Dealers from south India.

These were business partners and state distributors.

Now just imagine if Madonna sees us on TV.
  • The Yeti® who is madonna's greatest fan on earth, shows up to her concert with a girl in his arms. This girl in the Yeti's arms is more beautiful than Madonna herself. This is nicht gut. Strike One.
  • The beautiful girl in The Yeti's arms speaks badly of Madonna, saying her singing is O...K... meaning passable. Strike Two.
  • The Yeti does not jump up on German national TV clawing, yelling and screaming in Madonna's defence. This is nicht gut at all! Strike Three and I'm out!
Even though there is no strike four, you write on the internet that Madonna's singing was simple okay. It simply cannot get any worse now.

That's it. Madonna will never speak to me. You've ruined it for me.

Ha, why would I want her to speak to you? No no no, you can admire her from the distance. I think those are satisfying results for me lol.

Sorry love!
