Putin can tell you how ISIS buys these trucks from US suppliers. If only the world listened to him more.

Terrorists, like any other "consumer" wants a reliable, go anywhere sort of vehicle.
It seems that Toyota fits their bill the best!

This is by far the best advertisement for Toyota and the legendary reliability they build into every vehicle. Not only they survive hostile terrain, but also without support from the mother company.

Especially considering that the nice guys who drive them do not have time to spare for mundane ho-hum things like regular servicing, oil changes, etc, they do seem to last LONG. Proof of being built tough.

When the ISIS started rearing up their head and was splashed all over the media i noticed one thing. Instead of Toyotas and Nissans, they were using Silverados and F150s.

Heck, many said they stole the Iraqi forces vehicles, but how come then the plumber's Ford found its way to ISIS from Texas?

No problem for that, and now USA wants to know how Toyotas end up there. Call me stupid, but USA still hasn't got over Toyotas success, which was evident from the handling of the 'unintended acceleration' case.

And before USA even has the moral right just look behind the history of all the terrorist organisations from Taliban to al Qaeda to ISIS.
And also care to look who supplies weapons to these outfits, which they won't do ever.

Toyota's pickups are so dependable there has been a war named after them called 'Toyota War'

Probably they are very well informed. Will not be surprised if they frequent Team-BHP site for the reviews of the best automobiles

Surely they are smart enough not to risk driving an unreliable car, prohibitive spares cost, long lead time for spares and equally bad A.S.S. They are probably patriotic enough not to pollute their environment with cars which cheat on their emission results.
