Default Ferrari’s Dino reborn

Unlike the classic original, the newcomer will get a front-mounted V8. The unit is expected to be an all-aluminum 90-degree 4.2-litre unit with around 480bhp

I guess, its a photoshoped 599 GTB and a Cayman!

Anyways, it would be awesome if Ferrari could create the charm of the old Dino, which was never actually called a Ferrari and was named after Enzo Ferraris son, who died due to an illness!

i hate that the "photochopper" even thought of including the ugly dna from the cayman...bad bad idea and ferrari would never do it, I think what will end up happening is, this will come in the 150k range, the F500 will become the 225k car with 599 GTB upgrade pushing 300+k where in moving all theirs cars up market..(like there was any need )

Ferrari has confirmed that the Dino is not being made as of now, and anyway thats not the picture. See below:

"The duplicity of information between Ferrari and the media that report on it, regarding the prospective entry-level Dino model, is truly epic. With each source that allegedly leaks enough info to feed the Photoshop machine comes return fire from company reps that there's no such car in the works. The latest news from the backchannels is that the new, V8-powered Ferrari 420 Dino was greenlit in September, and will go on sale in 2010. But just last week in a press conference at the Los Angeles auto show the company issued a flat denial that the Dino, if it did exist, was for public consumption. While we search the middle for truth, check out what AutoExpress has to say about the spec image (above), for which someone likely raided a Porsche Cayman press kit to create" - Jalopnik

Hey Pawan never knew that , there is another link proving your statement right.
New Ferrari Dino under development - 4Car News from Channel 4

One more link thats much more informative.

Ferrari Dino prototype spied - Auto News Feature - Motor Trend

but here is an another link suggesting that there has been a V8 after all.

Ferrari Dino engine - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
V8

3.0 L Quattrovalvole V8 in a 1984

Dino's project also created a V8 engine with a conventional 90° bank angle. First appearing in , the new V8 used the same 77x71 mm bore and stroke as the V12. Output from the engine was 265 hp (198 kW). A smaller version was also produced, with stroke dropped to 66 mm for 2459 cc. This engine was used in the and produced about 250 hp (186 kW).

Making a car below the 430 would be a mistake, if Ferrari is really that desperate to increase revenues, they simply need to increase the output of 430 and 599GTB, the market will absorb every car they make, just as at present.

actually increasing the F430 and F599 production would be a mistake and would dilute the cars value especially in the US, even thought it might not happen in this generation but they would feel the pinch in the coming years..

It would be a good idea to kick the F430 upwards and the F599 just like how lambo has been doing, putting theirs murci in a higher price range with the LP640..

Like i said in the earlier post a Dino could cost the 150+ range with F430 successor in the 225+ range with F599 upgrade in the 315+ range which would make perfect sense without diluting anything about ferrari..

Should Ferrari produce a new Dino model/brand at the lower end of the model range, or will this hurt Ferrari's exclusivity factor, What do you think ?

I think they should, it would not dilute the brand really. Recent years have shown that high end car buyers do not really car about the brand having lower models. Almost every brand is focusing on more affordable models yet keeping a strong look out on it's top end model, this strategy is bringing in good numbers.
Ferrari did a good job with making the lower cost California, people debated that it would not be worthy of the Ferrari badge however it turned out to be well deserving of it. It is a true Ferrari. I am sure they will manage to keep these high standards even if they go a notch lower to launch the Dino. Exclusivity isn't always a good thing, I wouldn't mind seeing and hearing more Ferrari's on the road. The numbers will never rise to a level that wouldn't care to give it a second look.
