Which car has the better average? I am not an ignoramus, i KNOW these are both petrol cars, but what about the diesel variant?

Nice joke...

These are important questions before I choose from these 2 cars and cast my valuable vote. Thank you.
Sam they both cost around 3-3.5 crores each, come fitted with all the toys including 19/20" alloys, ICE, Safety equipment the works.

Now please stop worrying about the diesel versions of the 599 & Murcielago (Blasphemy!!), go back to your ICE thread & leave us engine-vingne wallahs alone

OT: You considering buying one of these instead of the Verna to be chauffeur driven in Mumbai???

rags, the difference between 3 and 3.5 crores is one Nissan Xtrail or Porsche Cayenne. Or a Pajero + Laura. Please have a little more sentiment for 50 lacs.

NO. The back seat is uncomfortable. OK you guys have fun. Bye. I'll vote though.

Dippy, it's unfair that you have put such an exciting photo of the lambo and a poor photo of the ferrari. Thats why all these people are voting for the Lambo.

Not me, I vote for the ferrari. There's a layman's vote.

And I am a complete and true layman, if I have that ferrari, it's a guaranteed lay.

I would go for 599 GTB, but replace the wheels. The stocks are just bad.

Default May be am wrong ..here is my view.

To drive 599GTB as per reviews is vastly better than LP 640 but as far as visual appeal is concerned , Fiorano simply fails to entice the racing heart or its shape is not dramatic enough to be adorned a prancing horse on its body !
Nothing has come close to how F40 looks ...simply in a league of its own . I guess they should design cars in similar line to take the fight on to Lambos who are really doing in well as far as looks are concerned . Their attention to detail is breathtaking. Take their alloy design for that matter...

Agreed but what's 50L when you can spend 3 crores on a car!!

Sam there is NO backseat so no question of it being uncomfortable. You could try the boot in the front of the LP 640 though to see if you find it comfortable

And the Lambo a flamboyant, pumped-up version of the Devil

I'll take my chances with the devil.

Lambo in this case. Though personally I don't like either compared to some of their amazing predecessors.
