I chose the Ferrari because it's the slightly more understated way to arrive (compared to the LP640 at least).

IMHO it's one of the best gentleman's express ever. I wouldn't want to own any other Ferrari.

BOTH CARS ARE EXCITING TO DRIVE EVERYDAY AND ON TRACK TOO.But considering that they cost the same around 280 000 euros .I would go for the Lamborghini muRCIELAGO LP 640, it has got more power , more style , that car is the spirit of Lamborghini itself , those scissors doors ,the glass hood over the engine bay , the cooling box openings , the huge exhaust , the star shape led at the rear.
The Ferrari looks less special compared to the other one.No more quad rear lamp, weird front lamp but masterpiece engine V12 under the hood

that wild v12 under the prancing horse makes it quite irresitable.....but one look at the front end tipped the scales the otherway though.....

It would have to be LP640 just for the looks, but that doesnt mean it aint quick enough, i would love to have LP640 for a Sports car and 599 for a GT..but between the 2, Lp640 all the time..

the price diff in UK is about 40k GBP on road i think..so it works out to about 50L in india i think..

To draw a very bad parallel, the Ferrari is like Michelle Pfeiffer. Absolutely brilliant at what it does, looks good, has amazing pedigree, the works. And the Lambo is like Angelina Jolie, Catherine Zeta Jones, Winona Ryder, Jasmine St Clair, Jenna Jameson, all rolled in one. Super car, poser car, track car, get-laid car (Sam, change your vote!), bedroom-poster car, and it'll get your rocks off like nothing else on this planet.

And dare I say it, pound for pound, against the Enzo, it's a bloody bargain.
