Some great launches there. I really liked the new Tundra, the new CTS and the revised Five Hundred sedan. Especially the Five Hundred. Looks kinda neat now with the chromed slat grille and the new 3.5L engine. (I just looove full sized sedans!) Decent interiors too...for an American car.

The new Malibu, IMHO, looks kinda hotchpotch.

Default 2007 Detroit Auto Show preview

Toyota

The Toyota FT-HS concept caused a huge stir in Detroit, indicating that the Japanese company is considering the production of a new sportscar with a hybrid powertrain. Regardless of the mechanicals, the FT-HS looks sensational. Toyota also unleashed its massive Tundra CrewMax full-size pickup on the world at the show.

Honda

The Honda Accord Coupé Concept is one of those near-production show cars that really should not be called a concept. It will sell well in America, but it quite distinct from the Accord we get in Europe and therefore is unlikely to make it over here.

some more info about the honda concept:

Toyota’s FT-HS Hybrid Sports Concept, direct from the 2007 Detroit Auto Show. Just a quick refresher, this 2-door sports coupe pushes 400hp using the same engine as the Lexus GS450h.

watch a video on the car:
