Default 2008 Chevrolet malibu- The new face of Chevrolet

Would I move over from the camry's and the accord's to the Malibu not so sure but anyway's heres the 2008 Chevrolet Malibu.

Compared to the 2007 model, the new Malibu is more than three inches (76 mm) longer, with a six-inch-longer (162 mm) wheelbase

Highlights of the 2008 Malibu design include the all-new contemporary exterior with new dual-port grille design that represents the new face of Chevrolet and twin round taillamps. The interior features two-tone trim and gauges with blue backlighting.

The Malibu adopts a family of DOHC powertrains, including a 2.4L Ecotec DOHC four-cylinder and a 3.6L DOHC V-6 with variable valve timing.

Like I said in another thread (Detroit auto show one) , I find the new "face" of Chevrolet to be a bit..ho hum..to say the least. There is also no manual transmission being offered on the V6.
Its badge engineered cousin, the Aura, looks much better. Only grouse I have with it is the 3.5L OHV engine that forms its base variant.
Which ofcourse, means fleet sales >> family sales.
