Also called the "cinquecento" from the word for "500" . The first engine was a 2 Cylinder 479 CC engine putting out 13 Bhp.

The 2nds engine was a 499 cc engine puttin out 17 bhp

Enigne size was the naming nomenclature for the car

She's quite a sweetheart isnt she? Id say this is the most convinsing reincarnation compared to things like the new mini and beetle.

No dount this is the best revival but I dont think you should take anything away from the New Mini though.

Very nice, especially the interiors. The best out of the reincarnations.

Shares an engine with the Swift!

So none of us are going to buy this. Tata will never allow another small car, though '500' falls in a different league. It is having a 1.3 diesel engine in europe, which has a mileage over 73 mpg(highway). Top end version has seven airbags.

Absolutely! I will place it in the league of the Mini and Beetle without second thoughts. The interiors have a nice blend of retro looks.

Not likely. Too expensive and too small for the money for the Indian market. Besides, nostalgia alone will ensure a lot of sales in Europe but no such thing to push sales in India. It's more of a lifestyle car and majority of Indians just want a car to get to work and back with a bit of mall'ing' in between. BUT, maybe Fiat can use the platform to create a more conventional looking 4 door small hatch for the BRIC markets. Still, I don't see this coming here.....ever.
