I dont know about Heathrow, but at the Dubai Duty Free, its as follows :
Buy a raffle ticket worth AED 500 (apprx Rs.5500+), which is limited to 1000 people. If luck is kind to you, you strike it rich. Dubai Duty Free also had the option where they ship the car for free to any port of your choice. I dont know if duties are taken care of, i assume not.

This was how it used to be earlier, dont know if its the same now.

Yes, as many have been saying, they are in the Heathrow terminal 4 since quite some time. Pity I did not have a cam when I was there.

I guess a lottery of sorts with a *spot the ball* contest as well. Check out their website. Entry fee is 20 quids.

That is the reason I bought N82. While it isn't as good as regular cameras, it is good enough usually, and is always with me.

I remember now! I in fact had my S3IS, but that darned thing was in my check-in baggage. At that moment, I forgot that I was traveling British Airways. But, nothing untoward happened though.

They ship to any port in the world, all duties are to be bourne by the winner. When I was there last there was a Yellow Gallardo, and the next time was this very Ferrari...the red F430...

R8 side profile is lip smacking. And, nothing to beat the rear of a ferrari

IMO, Porsche is looking quite ordinary in that new color. Porsches look great in silver, black, yellow and orange, just my opinion

Nice pics! This is something I love to see. Cars on display at airports..
Remember seeing a Porsche 911 at the Amsterdam airport many years ago.. Quite a sight!

Hey just remembered something that happened 3 years ago, the company my dad works for now wanted to hire him really bad, and hence when he flew to the US to meet with the bosses, they had rented a red 360 convertable for him...It was standing outside the SFO arrivals, and had an attendant holding a sign with dad's name on it...

Dad often jokes that that was the reason he joined the company, also says that it was the most he'd ever driven in 2 days ...

Was just on the phone with my father, which is why I just remembered this...

ur right there is a raffle ticket. i saw a RED F430 in frankfurt in feb.. i remeber the ticket was EURO100

but im sure there would be more than 1000 people in the raffle otherwise how do they recover the cost of the car !!!

anyway i was wondering , even if i were to shell out the EURO 100 and i were to win the car, i have to end up paying a STEEP duty to take possession of the car....so wats the point

but i always thought FERRARIs were sold very selectively only to a close group of previous ferrari owners or ppl close to the factory etc etc...

Load of bull, the dealers order loads of red Ferrari's to a desirable spe and sell them at a premium

The Heathrow airport Ferraris's are a spot the ball contest and not a mere lottery. You decide on a spot in a scenario and the person closest to the spot designated by an independent referree wins
