What the C55 AMG could do??? - Team-BHP

Hey guys

The C55 AMG has replaced the C32 AMG. And yea, it now produces 367 hp (just like the E55 AMG of old) and a 0-100 timing of 5.1. Now imagine of AMG chucks out that stupid chip and puts in the new E55's 476 hp chip and mods. The C55 will surely fly. I am guessing 0-100 timing of 4.2-4.4 seconds and a top speed of 210mph with the right tyres n suspensions. And it probably wont cost more than 10-15000$ to make the change.

Talk about an economy class Ferrari beater!

Are you certain its exactly the same engine as the E55? If it is, the little C is suddenly going to become a cult

Hey Rev Master,
I dont think the Engine of theirs is that Cheap. I mean if they Mass Produce it then yea it will turn 15 G's more but if u want it built speacially then well you might have to cough up Royalty on that. Which will in the end be around 25-30 G's. I will find out from AMG what they will charge.

Nope the High End Segments have a Supercharger which is known as the Kompressor at Mercedes fitted to them i.e. the E, S, CL & SL which produce 497 BHP where as all the other classes i.e. the C, SLK & CLK have the Naturally Aspirated version of the V8 which produce 360 odd HP.

Nope Only the SL, CL, S & E have the Superchargers.

Hey guys,

The SLK32amg and the C32amg are kompressor (german for supercharger) engines...

RG is right about the C55amg and the CLK55amg not being super'd

You are right about the supercharger part, kinda overlooked this fact. But yes, come to think about it, even of you pay 25k for the supercharger of the SL55 and the chip and other mods, this really could be one helluva fast car. And you are aware of the torque that this engine produces, so you could yourself picture it in a C and can understand what it could really do.

Frankly, I wouldnt buy a C55Amg. I'd still go for that BMW M3 CSL if u'd ask me. But as a drag car, this cud certainly be the king of mini-sedans.

I know what u mean Revvmaster. Even as a day Car I would love the C55K. Its fast. Its occupancy is 4 and well not too flashy.
