Wow, the interior looks stunning, definitely better than Civic and similar to BMW.

looks like a cheap copy ot the holden caprice(front) and the new sonata(rear) to me...i reckon the Accord euro version is the best looking accord till date.

As someone else mentioned, this new accord looks so much like the Sonata. Are they both designed by the same California design house?

Since Honda benchmarked BMW (for driving dynamics), people are trying to see BMW everywhere in the design. There are a lot of elements in Accord that are derived from Acuras (Legend, TL, CL, MDX/RDX interiors).

Ha Ha, it goes like a cycle, Acura's are Honda's anyway. Acura brand is only for US. However why people are very critical about Honda designs these days is because, they have lost their own design direction, which was one of the selling points of seeing a Honda. There were a lot of traditional Honda fans who have actually turned away from their new designs, be it Honda or Acura. This also takes the direction of the Kia (Again Hyundai) Optima.

Then there are a lot of gibberish about aping BMW driving dynamics, well at this day and hour thats to be taken in the perspective of Jagdish Khattar equating the Omni with the Mercedes S class on Safety aspects. However for the average user will not be able to identify where is the difference cause they will be bound by the speed limits of the land, its only when an enthusiast tests these, things start being put in proper perspective. But for each enthusiast there are around 50 non-enthusiast who would be happy with the claim the manufacturer has made. Honda in its current line up does not have a single RWD sedan, the closest is Lexus IS to BMWish driving dynamics.

The new accord looks good, but nothing looks new.
Also, the rear resembles very much with the pre-facelift of the 2007 accord.

Thats one stunning looking machine. The 06 / 07 looked to streamlined and flimsy.. This design gives it a more solid body feel.

I see a lot of "I want it if its the same price as the 07" ... I am J !!

I would like to see better designed alloys on the Accord. I hate the 5-spoke on the old Accord; they've only given a different design to the new V6. I'm no fan of these Chip Foosish fan shaped alloys.

The Legend is a bigger car than the Accord. Not in the same segment. Competes with the Toyota Avalon and Nissan Maxima. It is sold in the US as the Acura RL

Lightbulb Scoop - Honda Accord 2008

Came across following pictures of the new(probable) Honda Accord coupe 2008.
Hopefully the pictures are authentic.
Looks better than Civic to me.
