The New Mazda 2/Demio

The recently launched Mazda 2/Demio is one of the many innovative cars to have come out of a revitalised Mazda. Of late, Mazda has become the 'alternative' Japanese car maker.

With its superb driving dynamics and sporty styling, one has to ponder if it would make sense for Ford to base its small car plans on the Mazda 2 platform. Plus, its got a gem under the hood, the ultra efficient 1.3 with CVT. Mazda makes exciting cars, it would be a pity if they dont have any immediate plans for the Indian market.

Ford Should bring the Mazda brand to India. This car needs to be seen by the Swift GETZ crowd.

The next Ford Fiesta will be based on this car which is a new platform.

This car also comes with an optional Miller cycle engine for high FE.

why does'nt ford bring more Japanese cars in here. ITs like what Coke did to thumbs up - they first tried to kill the brand, then realised its too big, so brought it back again. Same way - i think ford is trying to build the Ford brand but is it working?
