Looks a bit likeLexus meets BMW but I am not complaining, am sure in the metal it will look hot!!!

Hope Tata gets to assemble them in India!

It has a very handsome and proportionate look. Butttttttttttttttttt it sure doesnt look like a Jaguar from the front end...... Actually it doesnt look like a Jag from the side or the rear either. I dont think luxury cars should lose their identity like this. Take the example of the Merc E Class. Even though it has gotten more modern over time, you cant mistake it for anything but a Merc.

And dont even get me started on the boxy dash. Whats up with Jag (Ford)? I sure hope they havent used a Ford econo-platform for this too.

Well Jaguar got themselves into a rut due to cautious evolution. I reserve judgment till one sees it in the metal

Hmmm.... not impressed at all, looks like a Khichdi of too many design cues & absolutely DO NOT like the Corolla-esque Headlamps, no matter if they have projectors or xenons or whatever.

This is the replacement for the S-Type right?

If it were not for the badge on the car, I would certainly not have recognised it. It actually looks like a Korean car from the front. Its so not Jaguar.

the rear is the only bit which seems to resemble a jag!! the front looks terrible!
the interiors are not bad at allllll! very stately and elegant.

The car looks like a Lexus GS at the back. What is a shame no direct injection engine at the moment.Still using old ones apart of the V6 2.7 Diesel engine.

i would not believe that this car can be called a jaguar design wise it has a blend of many cars in it. the front is like a verna with toyota style headlights. top veiw gives it an aston martin look, the rear is a blend between an aston martin and a camry and overall it reads lexus.
this is purely my observation dont jump on me guys.

And here's 2 videos. The car has great interiors with all the glowing lights on.
YouTube - Jaguar XF at the Nurburgring really nice videos both of these.
YouTube - Jaguar XF in action
Very well made by UK's CAR online magazine. talks about how the car has great handling characteristics and that it shares a lot with the s-type.

The XF is refreshing. Yes, the headlamps remind me of the new elantra and the side profile is a bit lexus-like. Yet, this car is full of character. Jag it seems have dumped their previous design philosophy for something totally, well..different. The interior is understated elegance personified.

The best bit? The Jag-Aston rear. Nice.
