Default Last Moments of the Diana Crash

The coroner has released pics of Diana and co miniutes before the crash and minutes after that (no graphic stuff). Amazing how the Merc stood up to it. if only they wore seat belts

The way this was handled leaves much to suspect, why didnt the french police allow Dodi's private investigators to investigate independently, why didnt they let anyone else see the damaged car or the evidences. why did they not involve the scotland yard.

They just made a statement that it was an accident and anyone pursuing this investigation further will be jailed.

wwoww! the top of the car had been ripped off? was it to pull them out? the funny thing is that the seats seem to be in place.

Top was ripped off by rescue crew to access passengers. If you see earlier pics, car roof is intact

60-65 mph translates to around 100 kmph. Skoda are safe at that speed. It is really surprising one could loose lives in a Merc S class at that speed.

The place above the crash site has kind of become a tourist attraction in Paris, with floral and graffiti tributes to Diana. I had been here and peeped inside the underpass to have a good look at the pillar (supposedly the 8th one). I guess they were all incredibly unlucky to die in the crash.

Not surprising if they were not wearing seatbelts. Also remember car absorbed entire impact energy and not the pillar

I had been to Paris less than a month after the crash. A momument (in the shape of a flame,if I recollect right) near the tunnel was dedicated to her. Lots of flowers & condolence cards were placed at the foot of the monument. Everyone stood around the over-pass,trying to look into the tunnel.

yup. the car did absorb most of the crash. but in the pictures, it looks asthough the seats are still in place. I am guessing that it must have been the whiplash that snappend their necks. :( foudn this also on the internet.

The car compartment seems to be intact. Sad.
