Post New Mazda 6

Mazda has been one of Ford's success stories. And they havent had many in recent times. The Mazda 6 in its new avatar is sporty and modern like many recent Mazdas. Will Ford ever test waters with a Mazda model on our soil? Their cars are sporty, efficient and can be sold/serviced through Ford India's network.

The new 6 seems to be inspired in part by the Lexus IS range. The interiors are youthful and a little less funky than the Mazda 3, while the rear profile and the headlamps are quintessential Mazda. A Honda Legend-like grille gives it a solid presense.

Looks more round and sleek, as compared to the previous design. The console has a lot of stuff from the mazda 3, and the door handles & a few things borrowed from the Miata MX-5.. The front has some lines taken from the Acura RL.
Nice!!

The new Mazda6 simply rocks. Too bad this one is for Europe only.

the mazda 6 looks inspired from a number of cars, but i have to say it looks very nice. sleek design and a neat interior does work for it.

I really like the 2008 6s from a design perspective - esp. the interiors. Its only been a few months since I sold my 2004 6i and I miss it already. I have driven few fwd cars that handled like the way it did.....sigh. If they bring the Mazda range to India - it would be a hell of an alternative to the sedate sedans we have here. A nicely priced 6i would be around 13L or so and would turn up the heat on the Laura / Accord / Camry etc.

I drive a Mazda3 and the new Mazda looks a bit similar to mine!
There are more features in this one including a wide display with Satellite navigation built in the top end model. Among other features it has DSC(Dynamic Stability Control), cruise control, ABS, 6 Airbags, Traction control and more! Its loaded with features.
I would love it if Ford thinks of getting this one in India. The Mazda 3 also can beat the competetion hollow!

wow...this one's sweet. Any clue if Mazda is coming to India anytime soon? If not Mazda, Ford could build something off this frame and sell it in the D segment here.
