Cool The "Millennium Mercedes"

Just found this while browsing on the net. Instant reaction was to show it to you.

Did a search for any existing topic, did not found any so here we are.

This guy did a all-around the world trip on this custom made mercedes.

Commendable feat shown bu Jim.. that ol model SLK looks dated but the big fat tyres serve the purpose nevertheless.

thats a great feat achieved. the 98 slk with the big tyre and the custom luggage carrier look awsome they also have a G wagon as a follow car. maybe one of their sponsors were Mercedes.

hey as far as i remember.. that's an slk body on a g wagen.. that and the luggage carrier were done up by an aftermarket merc service centre.. there was an big article abt it in auto india in those days..

Jeez! That looks like a weird modification to the Merc.

An off-roader Merc with a trailer? Looks strange to me.
