2007 Dubai Motor Show + Festival of Speed(pics added)

If any of you guys live in Dubai, are currently in Dubai or are passing thru Dubai between the 14th and the 18th of this month, its time for the 9th Middle East International Motorshow.

This time around the bi-annual event will be held at the Convention Centre as usual, but there will also be a Festival of Speed at the Dubai Autodrome on the 16th and 17th (weekend) which will feature the final round of the FIA GT3 series European championship, a Speedcar Series race featuring various V8s, Formula Renault and several other minor races plus lots of entertainment, stunts etc.

Highlights of the Dubai Motorshow are expected to be:

1. The World's Fastest Production car, the Aero SSC on display for the first time since its official launch.

2. The new cars from several manufacturers, almost all limited edition cars except the Lambo Revention.

3. The KTM X-Car

4. Droptop Rolls and Droptop Mclaren SLRs.

5. Some talk about the RS5, but I think this is mostly rumour.

6. The usual exotic limos, super super stretch limos, mad ATVs and the like. More participation from two-wheelers.

thanks for the information steeroid. would have loved to come to watch the GT3 championships but have prior commitments out here .
the limited edition cars besides the first public appearance of the Aero SSC along with the droptop Rolls and the SLR makes it even more tempting. dam i have to miss this but hope you do take alot of pictures.

The 9th edition of the Middle East International Motor Show, popularly known as the Dubai Motor Show, opened at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre yesterday. The Event is from 14th November - 18th November.
Some of the biggest names in the motor world, including Maybach, Maserati, Mercedes Benz, Porsche, Toyota, Hyundai, Ford, General Motors and Jeep, just to name a few, are showcasing their rides and concept cars.

I have taken over 300 pictures and will try to post them till tomorrow till then here is one of the concepts that i liked the most.

Got some pics yesterday - pretty bad because I had to use my camera without a proper flash or tripod.
