Default The Peel Car. And Jeremy in it!

How many of you have heard of the Peel car? Its the smallest car that was ever mass-produced! Some facts:

- It weighed less than 60 kilos!

- Can seat one. And has one door.

- Came with a fittingly puny 49cc engine churning out 4.2 BHP.

- Top speed in the whereabouts of 40 MPH.

- To reverse, you had to literally get out and pick the Peel car up.

- Claimed FE of 100 miles to the gallon.

And now, the ever-entertaining Jeremy Clarkson posts his review on the same : .

Actually Jeremy said it was the best(or the coolest) car he ever reviewed. took it inside office, where the staff had a blast with it.
He even attended a meeting sitting in the car

And on turns the left front actually lifts up in the air!!!

Jeremy is the best! Proven again.

It's interesting to see something of this kind in cars.

Jeremy presnted it in an excellent way how better can you demonstrate its manouverability and portability than by lifting it and then using it in your office,he even went into the lift in it.Great car you don't even need to find parking just carry it along wherever you go,only if it had a sports version and reverse gear.

We had discussed the Peel microcar one year and two months ago here:

I remember when that episode aired on TV like a month back. I have NEVER laughed so hard watching Top Gear. Amazing.

oh yeah, one of my favourite topgear episodes, that was. The best scene for me was, BBC news going live and Jeremy driving the car behind the newsreaders

My best part is the conclusion where he says: " So, here's the future car and it comes from 1963!"
