| BHPian | I despise all super cars/sports cars which have All Wheel Drive. In my opinion, a true sports car is always rear wheel drive. AWD is for sissies who cannot manage all the oversteer and throttle control. But the Gallardo is certainly the best looking amongst all 3 cars. And I'm not a big fan of the 430 Scuderia, especially with that hugely bloated price tag over the regular f430. Hence, the 911 GT3 for me. Rear engined, lightweight, rear wheel drive which might just kill you if you try too hard.

| Here's a question - what would be the more appropriate Porsche here, the GT2 or the GT3? GT2 as I understand is the 911 turbo's big(gest) brother - lighter and more powerful, just like the Scuderia and the Superleggera. GT3 is more of a track-day machine, barely made road-legal. So which would be the better porsche here? If you had the moolah, which would you go for? |

Frankly speaking, I believe that since the last 8-10 years, about 10% of the price of a new Ferrari goes towards Michael Schumacher/Jean Todt's salaries. I mean do we really need a Formula 1 driver to fine tune a car when it's already so good. Does that mean that companies like Koenigsegg, McLaren, Pagani Zonda, Porsche etc. which do not avail the services of a "Formula 1" driver make crappy supercars? It's just a gimmick Ferrari uses to overcharge it's already expensive cars. The last time an F1 driver tested a car was way back in 1990 when Ayrton Senna helped Honda tune the NSX, but I think we can take Honda out of the equation since it was their 1st supercar and they never overpriced it like the Ferraris.
