Top 10 cars... before you were born - Team-BHP

So you thought i'd give you something easy to tackle right? Well you ain't gonna get it easy-peasy you see...

So here's something to rack your brain over. Gimme the list of top 10 cars of all time. But here's a catch. You first have to put in your birth year. Then you have to put in the list of top 10 cars on your list, all made before your birth year.

To give you a clue, here's how it goes

Revvmaster: Born 1982

Top 10 list (indicative, not actual)

1. Ford GT40- 1964
2. Lamborghini Miura SV-1970
.... and so on and so forth till your number 10.

Now you might ask why? Well here's something simple to ponder over. You generally like the cars you grow up with, especially in the age bracket of 8-20. Hard to digest, but very very true. So selecting a top 10 list isn't theoretically difficult in such a scenario.

But get this.... we've already done a top 10 garage list previously. You can check it in "The best threads" section of this site and post it there. But now, i wanna know how much trouble have you taken to check up on cars that came before your time. The time before you decided to knock on mother earth's door.

Easy? I bet you it ain't. Difficult. Yes. Impossible. No.

So take your time blokes and gals. And show us what a connoseiur of fine things you really are.

P.S. Rules:

1. Your birth year is important.
2. Cars should have necessarily have been launched before your birth year. For instance i am allowed only till 1981, not 1982.
3. Indicate year of launch next to the car.
4. SUVs, sports cars, sedans, hatchbacks,et all are allowed. Sorry but no commercial vehicles or bikes or even dune buggies. The general term is car or an off-roader at max, nothing else.

Before my birth i.e. pre 1976 cars. That means no Jag XJS, no Ferrari 512, no BMW 3.0CSL.... this is gonna be tough. Anyway, here goes.

i was born in 1977.i still dunno the names of the best cars after my birth ,so it was very difficult to give the names of cars begor my birth.

still here are some ,

1.mercedes 300SL gullwing(1954)
2.AC cobra (1961)
3.lambo countach(74)
3.Gt40(66)
4.lotus espirit(74)
5.porsche 928(77)
6.Ferrari 365 (daytona) (1968)
7.porsche spyder(from NFS 5)

and 8.i have to say the audi quattro is my best.even though it was out in 1983,i have to include it.

Whoa mate, I say stall your studies of modern cars, and immerse yourself in old cars for a year or two, and learn about them, cos they're much much cooler, nicer, and better than moderns.

Which is why youll find half my house buried under copies of "Classic & Sports Car"!!!
