Looks good. Where can i have a look at the car from all angles?

Don't you think the front resembles the Accord a little?

BTW, when is Toyota planning to launch it here? This car seems to have a much better build quality than the present version.

Regards...

Hey Sweet Corolla. Though from the pictures, it does not look like there is too much of a difference.

Like Shantanu said, I do hope that the Corolla gets back to the good old days of Japanese build quality. Its really embarassing for such a car maker to hear about Autocar and Overdrive complain of it being flimsily put together.

Hey....

According to Toyota's Japanese website, they are coming up with a whole new line up for Corolla with four different kinds:

1.Corolla Spacio

2.Corolla Sedan

3.Corolla Fielder

4.Corolla RunX
The pic's already put up by Amit.

Toyota is yet to put up the photo gallery for these cars. They will only be up on May 11th, so Shan2nu, I guess we will have to wait till then to see these cars from all angles.

There probably would be a center console between the front seats that would cover up that entire gap. Maybe it's optional, and for that reason is not included in the pic above. My 2003 Highlander comes with such a console, but standard. It looks good and can accomodate a lot of paraphernalia...

Very true.
It's better looking than the current model.
The interiors are cheerful... not dull and grey.

Does anyone else think that the Toyota designer probably got inspired by Skoda, for the front grill of the picture no.3 car - The Corolla fielder?

V12,

I am not sure about it also being the European version or not, but as far as the website goes....these are all the current new Japanese models of the Corolla.

Very much. Toyota and Skoda might have exchanged ideas at the WRC probably.

Found the site with all the detailed pictures of all the 4 cars. Turns out that the second picture posted by Amit is not the interiors of the Runx, but of the Spacio.

Anyhow, check out all the pics.

The RunX is a hatchback version of the corrola. Backhome it comes with a 1.8 VVTi engine the RSi version which delivers 185 BHp. This is the design before the one we have here in mumbai.

Maybe in that pic the abrupt ending looks a bit weird but i think it is a nice design feature that takes a little getting used to.....saw somehting similar at the NYC autoshow and liked it, heres the pic >
