Gotta love the styling of American cars. Pure character and muscle. If there is one area where they beat the Germans and the Japs, its in their design flamboyance. I agree...compared to the earlier spy pics, these look far better. I quite like the interior layout.

Not to mention that the 3.6L engine is a direct-injected (with VVT) V6 with about 300 bhp. Looks like even American automakers are introducing modern technology to their powertrains.

The interior looks brilliant. Fantastic job by GM. Hope it sells in this day and age of exorbitant gas prices.

Looks like the Camaro is not just a muscle car. It lapped the 'Ring in 8:20, faster than a Cayman S and a Lotus Exige S and an E46 M3.

Here's the link:

NurburBring It On: 2010 Camaro Cuts a Hot Lap

Keep in mind that the Chevy Cobalt SS lapped the 'Ring in 8:22, which is absolutely brilliant for a Front Wheel Drive Car at that price.

Those "spy-shot" interior snaps suddenly made my Indica's interiors drop-dead gorgeous. I'd have liked it if they evolved into something even mildly more interesting in the production model.

I like them both, anyone would do for me . Jokes apart, given an option I would go for the Challenger.

In terms of looks, I prefer this one over the Challenger any day.
But I have to say that this looks very futuristic whereas the Challenger looks quite like the Muscle car of Today.

I WANT!

But pricing is at a premium right now for these cars - the Dodge Challenger is selling here in Dubai (grey only) at insane premiums and I cant imagine what sort of markups this one will command.

The engine specs seem to be the same as those on the Chevy CSV CR-8. Same LS9 engine.
