Lexus LF-A Concept Sports car - Team-BHP

Lexus showed off the new concept LF-A sports car at the LA show. Toyota says the car is developed to run parallel to it's Formula One racing efforts and would use a engine being used in competition currently. All thats known about the engine is that it's going to have a displacement of less than 5 liters but will develop more than 500Hp and a top speed in excess of 200 mph.

I don't. It's too flashy to be a performance car. The dorr panels look too plain, it needs a few more creases along the sides.

Just like most concept cars from most manufacturers, this one isn't good looking. The final product may be much better.
But hey, im my opinion, this one looks better than the current SC430. The interior is more of the "love it or loathe it" types. Let's see how it's going to be priced. If Lexus intend to aim it at M6 / SL xx AMG / XKR customers, they'd better be careful.

in this angle it looks more like the Aston Martin V12 Vanquish. Anyways, its a concept car so don't expect too much from it right now. The end product may be different in many ways.

The front appeals.The rear and side view has nuthin gr8 to write about.Anyways,its still a concept.The interiors too look a bit unconventional.
Overall - below average.

Its okay for the concept but I hope they try to make it sporty and make it look much better when it goes into production.

It does sound very very mean. Put 2 and 2 together, this concept will be driving at the 24hrs of Nurburgring and i'm assuming thats the one thats testing in the video. Obviously its gonna sound mean. Hope the road going version is as mean as well!

I'd love to see this one hit the streets. Apart from the Lexus badge,something to compete with the Z06 and the likes would be worthwhile.

I'm sure it being a V10 it'll be faster than the Z06. Unfortunately however a Z06 is easier on the pocket. With even the IS series lexus' costing around 40K i'm sure this concept LF-A will be upwards of 100K or atleast in that region. 140K maybe...

Quite possible,Bhupi. Thats a totally different arena altogether,once it crosses the $100K mark. Wonder where it'll all head.

probably not THAT expensive...this is more of a competitor to the R8 and 911, and not Ferrari or Lambo...
