Fiat to launch own DSG in 2009.
Come 2009, the Grande Punto and Bravo will be avaliable with Fiat's own DSG transmission codenamed C635. Fiat plans to equip most of it's cars including the Alfa Romeo range with it's version of DSG transmissions.

How soon will this make it to the Indian Grande Punto and Linea?

Just went though an auto mag. I was impressed at the 1-100 and 40-100 speed runs when one has a DSG. The figures were of 105bhp Laura. Imagine what it can do with 170bhp and DSG
Bravo already costs 20lac :(

Oh! That's good news.
But to be very frank, We're waiting to see FiAT bring in Linea, punto etc.. Atleast by 09! Lots of promises have been broken periodically. Hope it doesn't happen this time around.
