If Mahindra takes over JEEP, how good is the news for the Indian consumer? Because even after TATA took over the Daewoo Comercial Vehicles division we have bot seen a "revolution" in our heavy vehicles segment.

I think even if TATA takes over Jaguar and LR it will only benifit the TATAs as a company. I won't expect any goodies from them in the near future.

But Mahindra being a smaller company might want to wring out max profits and we - The Inidan consumers - might have got a treat out of it.
I would have liked to see them get hold of Jaguar & LR too instead of tata, but thats not gonna happen now!

Tata's trucks are much cooler now.

I really do not think Mahindra will buy Jeep.
