Captain Slow was the one who maxed the Bugatti Veyron in Season 10
He doesnt really like to drive fast, thats all. Doesnt think that is gentlemanly.

They never showed him gagged or bound. It's only his word against Jeremy's.

I think he is the Stig. That's why he keeps such a low profile among the 3 of them.

Also, both of them have appeared on the program together (i.e. James and Stig) .Specially the endurance race, which all 4 guys did together in the Diesel BMW...

There were rumours some time back that Tim Schrick was the Stig, but since they appeared together at the same time, I guess it's someone else.

Whoever it may be, It is DEFINATELY a White guy. Because, if you notice in some of the older episodes, (season 4) you see his neck!!

The "stig" keeps changing every now n then.

Rem the winter olympics epi where the stig drove the snow-mobile off a ski ramp? That guy was way bigger/fatter than the stig. Then there was stigs african cousing who raced the 3 cars on a dirt track in Africa (he wasn't even white).

So they might be having a line up of "stigs" based on their availability and the task at hand.

And if this is true, the Top Gear lap records can't be taken too seriously since the cars weren't driven by the same driver. This brings the "driver skill" factor into the equation.

Shan2nu, if that is the case then how can you believe the 0-60 times set on Top Gear, by a fat bloke (Clasrkson) and a Hamster(Hammond). They are not of the same weight or quality and they go about testing 0-60 times. Dont you find that funny?
My advice is to take things with a grain of salt. None of that is absolute.
