From the June 04 issue of the british CAR magazine:

'the Countach looked like a violent argument between and engineer and an aerodynamacist, with a V-12 and styling that was eminently purposeful rather than gay pretty. The Diablo was so quick and hard it terrified motoring journalists. Bonus.

The Testarossa? An overblown proportionless monster that dated almost instantly, and then a white one appeared in a third-rate tv series. The F40; first to 200mph yes, but it didn't have a radio, Or door handles.

The Enzo can only be bought by invitation, and then it breaks down. The 575M is for your dad, while the Scaglietti looks pudgy and under-wheeled.

The Murcielago, on the other hand, has vents that rise out of the sides that make it look like an alien spaceship. You can order it in Cadbury's Purple.

Where the 360 Modena is a slightly jellyfried, almost effeminate shape, the Gallardo is all angles and taut aggression and has 100hp more. You won't find a Lamborghini with reliability issues since Audi stepped in.

You buy a Lambo because you want a fast car, not a lifestyle.

What we suspected as kids may not have been true then but it is now: Lamborghinis really ARE better than Ferraris'. Tom Ford

I thought it was the contrary, that Lambo owners were buying into a lifestyle rather than speed. Just like the millions of SUV owners who seldom take their steeds off the road.

But this chap really seems to be an unhappy soul. I mean, how can you find cause to complain about the best Lamborghinis and Ferraris?

aha......someone stole the words right outta my mouth. not that i dont like ferraris, but lambos mean much much more to me than ferraris. they're simply so loud and outrageous......and has loads of in-your-face attitude.....the ragin' bull rules.

From your posts it's evident that we're talking about styling and not performance.

The vents, the alien spaceship looks........they're all fine but how do these cars stack up on the race track.

While Lambo gives importance to "butch" styling and raw power, Ferraris are built to perform.

Forget the Enzo Ferrari, take the F-50, race it against the best Lambo and victory will be marked in "Red".

IMO, the Lambo is more glamour while the Ferrari, is purely race bred.

Afterall, the "Bull" is no match for the "Stallion", *now is it??

Well if we compare Direct Rivals - (Comfort Performance & Price *correct me if I am wrong*)
The 575M V/s The Murcielago, &
The Modena V/s The Gallardo.

Both these "Stallions" have been tamed by the "Bull".
F50 and Enzo are mind blowing vehicles, theres no comparison. And yes TOM FORD is basically the Humour Guy for Fifth Gear, just like Jeremy! : Comments more on the looks than performance!

But you have to understand that both these Lambos came after their Ferrari rivals and were built to better them.

I'm sure the next generation of Modenas and Maranellos will be much better.

But i'd love to own both these makes. take the lambo to parties n stuff and use the Ferrari as a weekend tract day car.
